Rabbit roast with sour cream and vegetables

Ingredients
Dressed rabbit | 1 |
Sour Cream by RudTM, 21% | 400 g |
Potato | 4 |
Carrot | 2 |
Onion | 1 |
Garlic | 2 cloves |
White wine | 50 ml |
Oil | 2 tbs |
Parsley | 1 bunch |
Salt | to taste |
Pepper | to taste |
COOKING STEPS
Step 1
Wash the rabbit, dry it on a paper towel, carefully cut into portions.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic. Chop the vegetables into large pieces.
Step 3
Put a thick bottom pan over medium heat. Add some oil and spread the vegetables. Roast the vegetables for 5~7 minutes until caramelised. Add salt and pepper, pour the white wine. Roast for 5 minutes more until the alcohol evaporates. Put the vegetables into a baking dish.
Step 4
Season the rabbit with salt and pepper to taste. Roast until golden brown on the pan where the potatoes were cooked. Add the rabbit pieces to the vegetables.
Step 5
Pour sour cream into the meat and spread evenly throughout the dish. If the sour cream does not cover the rabbit pieces, add a little water.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the baking dish with a lid or foil and put into the oven for an hour. Serve the rabbit decorated with a sprig of greens.
