We cannot imagine a festive table without snacks. They can be of different form, kind and with any filling, etc. They will be interesting if they are made of puff pastry and cheese. You can cook simple and delicious dishes using our recipes, and you can be creative and make up different variants for your filling.
Puff pastry pie with cheese
A flavory and gassy puff pastry pie with cheese will be a perfect dish on your table. In addition, it is good with tea. Except cheese, other ingredients can be added to the filling, which will add new flavours. This pie can be served hot or you can cool it to the room temperature.
Ingredients
Puff pastry of TM Rud | 500 g |
Egg yolk | 1 pc. |
Butter of TM Rud | 15 g |
Chicken egg | 1 pc. |
Hard cheese | 350 g |
Firstly, you need to defrost the pastry as it is indicated on the package. Beat the egg up. Grate the hard cheese. It is advisable to use a big size of grater. Next, pour the egg into the cheese, give it a good stir. Add salt and pepper according to your taste. The filling is ready.
The next step is to prepare the form. Heat the oven up to 180°C. Take the pastry and divide it into two parts: one should be a bit larger than the other one. Spread the form with butter and put the bigger part on the table forming low edges. Put the filling inside. Carefully cover the pie with the second part of the pastry and wrap the edges well.
Then make few holes with a fork and put it into the oven. Bake until ready.
Rolls with cheese
If you need a quick and delicious snack, these rolls are exactly what you need! It is very easy to cook them. In addition, they are made only of four ingredients, so they are low-budget.
Ingredients
Puff pastry of TM Rud | 300 g |
Processed cheese (sliced) | 350 g |
Ham | 150 g |
Butter of TM Rud | 10 g |
Herbs | to taste |
While the pastry is defrosted, heat the oven up to 180°C.
Then take the pastry and start to roll it down to a thickness of 4-5 mm. The next step is to lay out our ingredients. First put a piece of cheese, then ham. Spread all the herbs and wrap it in a dense roll. Cut it into small pieces.
Spread the oil on the sheet pan and put the rolls on it. Put it in a heated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Braided biscuits with cheese
Pastry made from puff pastry is always tasty and very easy to cook. This version of the snack can be presented to the guests in both salty and sweet variant by adding instead of herbs, for example, canned peaches.
Ingredients
Puff and yeasted dough of TM Rud | 400 g |
Chicken egg | 1 pc. |
Cottage cheese of TM Rud | 400 g |
Salt and pepper | to taste |
Herbs | to taste |
The first stage is to defrost the dough and heat the oven up to 180°C. Then take cheese and strain it on a sieve. Beat the egg up and add salt, pepper and herbs.
Prepare the dough. Cut it into two parts. We will get two braided biscuits. Roll it out. Divide the dough conventionally into three parts. Cut the left and right sides with strips obliquely, leaving 1.5-2 cm between cuts.
Put the filling in the middle part. Then wrap each strip of dough carefully to form a braided biscuit. Repeat all the same with the second biscuit.
Put the braided biscuits on the sheet pan with foil or baking paper. Put it in the oven for 30 minutes. In order to have the golden crust, before putting it in the oven, spread the egg on the top.
